Miyawaki Plantation

IPCA, in collaboration with Concentrix, conceptualized the Miyawaki Plantation Project in Gurugram, Haryana, in March 2024, with support from GMDA and NHAI. This partnership transformed barren landscapes into thriving, self-sustaining urban forest ecosystems, successfully developing over 21,700 m² of green cover across Kherki Daula and Shankar Chowk.  three dedicated Miyawaki plantation zones (T1–T3), the initiative planted more than 74,000 native saplings.

Beyond greening the landscape, the project serves as a long-term carbon sink designed to improve local air quality, enhance biodiversity, and mitigate urban heat island effects. Backed by continuous operation, maintenance, and rigorous survival monitoring, the project ensures a healthier, greener environment and a lasting ecological legacy for nearby communities.
